Description
The General Practitioner's (GP) Assistant Course is designed specifically for clinic assistants working for General Practitioners. This course is designed to consist of two levels, Basic and Advance. It is highly recommended that participants without prior experience to start from the Basic modules. However for participant with adequate exposure and experience working in a GP clinic, they could enrol to selective modules based on their need and progress to the Advanced level.
The Primary Care Academy believe that through the robust delivery, this course will raise the level of service provided by the clinic at the same time. The GP Assistant course covers the fundamental skills required by the Clinic Assistant to support the GP ensure smooth day-to-day clinic administration and higher clinical tasks such as performing 12 leads ECG, advocating correct usage of different types of inhalers and providing basic health information on disease prevention cum pharmacological advice.
